Safety Corridors Installed Along Arizona Highways
In efforts to make Arizona roads safer, the Arizona Department of Transportation created the state’s first Safety Corridors. These are designated areas across state highways that have higher-than-average instances of speeding, aggressive driving, impaired driving and lack of seat belt use. Signs will be installed when motorists are entering and leaving a Safety Corridor, and they may also notice increased law enforcement presence in those areas. There will be zero tolerance for violations in a corridor. For more information on the location of the safety corridors, click the link we have provided.
