“I’ve always been hungry for knowledge from people who have been successful,” explains CEO of Bayless Integrated Healthcare, located in Phoenix.
Throughout the pandemic, Bayless built his company into one of only 13 accredited telehealth providers in America.
He also reached executive status in his twenties.
What’s his secret?
The right mentor.
“Anyone in any pursuit of excellence should be seeking a mentor, someone who can guide them on that pursuit,” says Bayless.
He pursued mentors in college and at the beginning of his career.
“Find people who can supplement deficits but also understand that a mentor is not just one-way,” says Bayless. Seeking a mentor isn’t only about “what can I get from them. But also, what can I give.”
But, having a high-achieving family to help light the right path helps too.
Bayless’s vision to integrate his family’s mental healthcare business with physical healthcare was partially achieved through his ability to select mentors and find balance in the relationship.
