Adopt a Dog in Phoenix: Darby

This week at Maricopa County Animal Care & Control we met Darby (A3845351). Darby loves chew toys and playing tug of war, but she’s certainly an independent woman at heart. She keeps to herself most of the time, so if you’d like a loyal companion that’s not too clingy, she’s the perfect fit for you! Darby knows sit and lay down, but she’s picky about when she will do it for treats. Darby is a playful girl. Even though she doesn’t show off her sparkling personality right away, if you stick around, you’ll see that she’s a loving, playful and loyal girl.

Adopt a Dog in Phoenix: Millie

This week at Maricopa County Animal Care & Control we met Millie (A3840644). Are you really for one Millie-ion reasons to love Millie?! She’s a serious pup until it’s time to play… but once the tennis balls come out, Millie is ready for playtime! She loves playing fetch, and she has a great amount of energy. If you’d like a dog to play with during the day but cuddle with to relax, she’s your gal. She’s a bit shy at first, but it doesn’t take much time for her to get comfortable. She’s a big fan of cuddles, and if you’re lucky, she may stick around for some kisses. Millie has been at the shelter’s west location since October 16th for no good reason. She’s a great pet for a family, does well with other furry friends and she could be the perfect addition you or your family are looking for!
