Thousands of people gather at Tempe’s iconic Mill Avenue each year for their New Year’s Eve Block Party. This year the city planned to cut back on the celebration this year, dropping the firework show from the evening. But thanks to Four Peaks Brewing Company party-goers will not miss the firework show. The local brewery has donated the funds necessary to continue this midnight tradition. The block party is expected to bring together 20,000- 30,000 people this year. For the best local coverage of this story, check out KTAR.
