PHOENIX (STN) – Two difference-making media companies are joining forces to amplify stories of leadership, innovation, and impact across the greater Phoenix area.
“By working together, we can tell those stories in a deeper, more dynamic way, connecting the written word with the live conversation happening on the STN stage.”
That’s how Phoenix Business Journal Market President and Publisher Ray Schey described the brand-new partnership between his company and STN. The announcement came during the October 2025 edition of ‘It Happens at STN.’

Schey called the partnership a natural evolution for two platforms committed to community progress. “Both organizations have built their reputations by highlighting people who make a difference,” he said.
The collaboration will expand both outlets’ ability to showcase the individuals and organizations shaping the region’s economic and social landscape. Hailey Frances, STN’s director of operations, joined Schey on stage for the announcement.
“What excites me most is the alignment of purpose,” she said. “The Business Journal reports on business leaders making change, and STN brings those leaders face-to-face with the community. Together, we’re extending that dialogue.”
The partnership announcement followed STN’s record-setting September episode and the continued momentum of its fourth season. As the show enters its next phase, collaborations like the one with the Phoenix Business Journal reinforce STN’s role as a hub for dialogue between the private, nonprofit, and public sectors.
For viewers and readers alike, the partnership promises a richer ecosystem of storytelling. One that combines the immediacy of live discussion with the depth of written journalism. As Schey put it, “This partnership is about building bridges. The more platforms that focus on solutions, the stronger our community becomes.”
