Partnership Brings Disabilities to Forefront of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Arizona
ABILITY360 COLLABORATES
WITH STN IN PHOENIX-BASED VIDEO SERIES
PHOENIX, November 12, 2021 â Over 1.5 Million Arizonans live with a disability. Ability360, Guild Mortgage and STN want to ensure that people with disabilities are acknowledged in talks about diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). A new partnership of the three companies, which launched in October, takes action on this initiative with full episodes about disabilities and DEI, as part of the biweekly STN original series, âThe Community Collaborativeâ streamed on Mondays on the STN app.
“We’re thrilled to have Ability 360 on board as a presenting partner. This partnership allows us to bring their thought leaders to the table and immediately identify where our community can improve diversity, equity and inclusion efforts for all people with disabilities,â said Eric Sperling, Managing Director at STN and host of The Community Collaborative series.
Launched in 2020, âThe Community Collaborative” is a series about how leaders in business can best manage DEI initiatives, according to leadership in various cultural and ethnic communities. The series was launched in partnership with executives from the Black Chamber of Arizona and the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
“The partnership with STN provides a tremendous platform to educate the community about the resources and services at Ability360 as well as a great example of a positive and productive community and business-based partnership and collaboration,” said Ability360 President and CEO Chris Rodriguez.
Ability360 provides services and resources empowering people with disabilities to take personal responsibility to achieve or continue independent lifestyles.
