A Millionaire Mindset For Meaningful Success

Like any driven entrepreneur, you likely have a case of books (or at least a solid stack) on the mindset of a millionaire. How do they think? What’s important to them? You might even collect a few millionaire mindset affirmations.

But, since millionaires have a ton of thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that have contributed to their success, we collected 3 that could boost your morale, mindset, and your bank account the most

Have An Attitude of Gratitude

Tony Robbins travels the globe training leaders to automate their thinking and nervous system into a state of gratitude. He believes “Where your focus goes, energy grows”. And moguls like Oprah Winfrey, Morgan Freeman, and Cindy Crawford subscribe to this and other law of attraction practices.

Since what you think about is what you bring forth into your reality, choose to focus on that which already brings you joy, fulfillment, and success.

By shining a light on what you are grateful for, you begin to notice more and more things to celebrate. And from that, opportunities arise. A few examples of small things to draw your attention to and be grateful for include genuinely positive interactions with a stranger at a coffee shop, the way a colleague shared your content online, a productive meeting, or making it home in time for dinner with your family.

At the end of each day, journal about these moments, bring them into your focus, celebrate them over and over again. You’d be amazed at how an attitude of gratitude attracts health, wealth, and happiness into your life, simply because you chose to focus on them as they occur.

Cultivate Abundance

"How we can work together to create something bigger than ourselves?”

If gratitude is the action, abundance is the result. In this case, abundance is an overflow of resources. Nothing is limited. And there are no shortages. The mindset that cultivates abundance can see opportunities and solutions even in the bleakest situations.

In our Abundance Mindset video with David Adame, President and CEO of Chicanos Por La Causa, describes an abundance mindset as “thinking about something bigger than myself…how we can work together to create something bigger than ourselves”. Leaders like David are always several steps ahead because his philosophy isn’t held back by fear, doubt, or insecurity. When you believe you have in abundance, you’re able to create, grow, and collaborate with no hesitations.

Shifting from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset requires a focus on success both achieved and anticipated. Give regular recognition of all the resources you currently have access to, do more of what makes you feel free, and get comfortable building a network filled with others who carry an abundance mindset.

Initially, you may have to monitor your thoughts. If you begin to experience an internal dialogue that says “I don’t have enough time, money, or resources to do x,y,z” immediately reverse that thinking to “I’m surrounded by resources and am creative enough to make anything happen”.

Become in charge of your thoughts so that you’re the one writing the story here.

Embody Your Vision of Success

Is it enough to just think thoughts to have a millionaire mindset? Not quite.

You have to believe in and embody the positive vision you have for your life, your business, your health, and everything in between. When you embody your vision you flip your thinking from doing to being, meaning success and fulfillment are no longer conditional.

If you’re in the habit of believing you’re successful when you have the car, the house or reach a particular number in your bank account–your success is conditional. The millionaire mindset believes they are already successful and accept that they embody the definition of success just by how they talk, think, and behave.

Master these mindsets by ditching limiting beliefs, detaching from any preconceived notions, and stop relying on physical proof. By doing so, you don’t limit the way gratitude, abundance, and success shows up in your life and you’ll be left with the mindset that it’s already there. Now you have accessed the unlimited ability to tap into your infinite potential to create whatever you imagine–just as a millionaire does.
