PHOENIX (STN) – Since originally launching in the fall of 2022, the ‘It Happens at STN’ mission to use the power of collaboration to address, better understand, and find solutions for systemic issues in the greater Phoenix area has grown even more important.
While the STN team is responsible for the content development and distribution of the show, partnering with leading organizations is an integral part in producing successful and tangible outcomes for the community.
“Our partners are the stars of the show,” said STN CEO Eric Sperling. “It’s their thought leadership and proposed solutions on display.”
That thought leadership and those proposals for solutions that the partners bring to the table become the storytelling cornerstones in each episode of ‘It Happens at STN’ that is executive produced by STN Chief Communications Officer Kathy Clark.
“Our STN partners are the energy and the power behind this production,” Clark said. “They come to the table ready to work, collaborate, and take the action needed to make our community a better and stronger place to live and work.”
This fall, for the new season of the show, STN is proud to welcome the Foundation for Senior Living, Meadows Bank, Arizona Business & Education Coalition and University of Phoenix into a tight-knit group of organizations and community leaders looking to make a difference.
“New partners mean new opportunities to broaden our reach and help them get the partnerships and funding to do the work,” STN Chief Production Officer Jody Isaac said.
Those four new organizations will join returning partners UMOM, Keys to Change, Mercy Care, Arizona Financial Credit Union, Bank of America, OneAZ Credit Union, Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine, Valley of the Sun United Way, Ability360, Candelen, and Lights, Camera, Discover for season three.
“Having [those] existing partners means we have buy-in from these organizations that what we are doing is impactful enough for them to continue to work with us,” Isaac said.
For Clark, it is the buy-in from those existing partners that allows and encourages STN to continue expanding the mission.
“Because those relationships have been established, we’re being able to dig into new areas and explore content options we haven’t been able to before,” she said.
As was the case with both previous seasons of ‘It Happens at STN,’ season three will feature 10 new episodes, one each month, debuting this September and running through July of 2025. Each episode is recorded in front of a live audience at the STN studios in downtown Phoenix.
“It’s unlike anything else out there when we’re talking about convening leaders and pushing solutions forward,” Sperling said. “There are many tremendous organizations convening local leadership for the purposes of solving problems, but our partners describe the atmosphere at STN that cannot be replicated.”
